Miranda Simonne
actor | musician | singer | mover
Miranda began paving her performance path in rural Illinois. She was heavily involved in the fine arts with her community, middle school, and high school as a singer, actor, & musician. She became President of Band, Choir, Thespian Club, and Captain of the Speech Team. In 2006, Miranda was the recipient of the National Choral Award, among other music and acting awards.

Miranda majored in trumpet performance when she landed at Luther College and eventually returned to the Quad Cities to take acting courses. Here, she won the award for Outstanding Actress as Dottie in Christopher Morgan's play Going Underground (portraying an Irish senior citizen) and also created the voiceover for an original cast recording as the role of Mary for the musical: The Best Man of Flagport (written by Dan Haughey).

She felt the calling to go further with her studies, so she continued her education at her dream conservatory, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). At the New York City campus, she studied under various working professionals in the industry while learning to love the fast-paced rhythm of The Big Apple. Graduating with a certificate in Musical Theatre rounded out her academic career, rendering her an aficionado of performance varieties.

These days, you can find Miranda hustling for commercial work as her bread & butter while chasing her dreams of transitioning from stage to screen. She's excited to be getting to know casting agencies in LA, Chicago, and NY that focus on film, television, and commercial projects.
Miranda frequently gets to work on projects with her life partner, Kyle Wells. Aside from auditioning in NYC & Chicago, Miranda and Kyle spend their free time spoiling their five nieces & nephews, making their own sustainable candles & home/beauty goods, and tending to their house in rural Illinois - when they're there, that is!

In 2025, Miranda wrapped her first commercial shoot in St. Louis, and her fourth round of Buddy Holly at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre (Vi Petty, keys, trumpet).
The start of 2026 has been busy already, with the completion of an ad partnership for a tech giant, and the exciting news that she'll be going on U.S. tour, followed by a NYC remount at an Off-Off-Broadway venue this May. But, as many have said about acting... "The job is looking for the next one." So... onward!
