Miranda has 25+ years of trumpet experience under her belt, ten of which have been spent with regional theatre pit orchestras/stages.
Most of Miranda's trumpet work has come in the form of on- and off-stage band appearances for musicals, jukebox musicals, or pit orchestras.
However, performing on horn + vocal harmonies for Brooklyn-based band Nevada Nevada, Miranda got comfortable on intimate NYC stages like Rockwood Music Hall and Glasslands.
No stranger to cabarets, she's been known to hop on stage & accompany a friend or two at venues around the Big Apple, such as The West End Bar.
She's primarily a lyrical, classically trained instrumentalist, with a heavy or "wide" vibrato, and an ear for funk, jazz, & blues influences.
Capable of reading music, sight-reading, collaborating, soloing, and improvising.
